CELEBRATE!

11 years ago today I married my love and best friend.  How wonderfully blessed I am!  Thought I would share a few photos from our wedding/honeymoon.  God has brought us through having two children with life threatening illnesses and their recovery; changing church families; well...the list could go on and on.  It's a miracle of God's grace that we are together in the first place.  We had completely lost contact with each other for 7 years or more and then whoosh...he appeared.  Love how God works!  We got married, had AG in an emergency setting at UVA, then two weeks later C was diagnosed with leukemia, then the next year we had J and my husband delivered him.  Amazing times!  Only by HIS grace we have gone through it all!  Wow.  Dear H has something up his sleeve to celebrate tonight.  He hasn't told me, so I'll be sure and put it on here what he came up with.  Relax...I'm sure it's something fun.

Ordered more information about the diet we are going to try.  Very excited to see what God has for us in it!

Wedding Day

Our days.....

Just wanted to update everyone on Baby Jack.  He passed away on Saturday afternoon.  The funeral was on Monday.  I know the family would appreciate you to continue praying for them that they would seek His face and have grace to continue on.  Makes me very sad and I hardly have words...  Yet I am amazed by how God used this little baby's brief life to bring so many people to their knees in prayer.  All I can say is WOW!

In other news - I have been reading a great deal about food colorings/dyes, BHT, BHA (preservatives) and have discovered that I'm REALLY ignorant about what I eat.  I looked up what Vanillin is and was quite grossed out to find that "vanillin mainly came from wood pulp, a byproduct of the sulfite process. Mmm, tasty."

Doesn't that just gross you out?  AND dyes are made from petroleum/crude oil - just like gasoline!  Why has this become so accepted in our world?  Grrrr....

So, now starts my first trip to the grocery store armed with more knowledge of what NOT to get and a list so I won't forget what is a no-no.  Should be interesting.  I'll let you know how it goes.  Lord, give me strength!  :)

Still not watching any TV during the day.  I slipped one day when JT was gone.  It was only for 30 minutes, but it just reminded me how addicted I really am to it!  About the only thing we have watched has been DVD's in the car on the way to Grandaddy and Grandma's.  We've watched Despicable me about 7 times now.  It's so cute.

I don't think I could EVER accomplish any of this without my friends encouragement and prayers.  How wonderful!  I have been so blessed!  Can't wait to see what God has for us tomorrow!  Mommy-duty calls at the moment!
